The Assistant CLO fully assists the CLO Coordinator in all areas of CLO responsibilities which include: welcome and orientation, community liaison, events and planning, education liaison, employment liaison, information and resource management, guidance and referral, crisis management and security liaison.
Helps to develop social, cultural and recreational programs designed to meet the needs of all segments of the mission community.
Markets the CLO program to the community and post management to garner support for projects and activities.
Works to identify the needs of the Mission community and helps to develop resources and programs to address those needs.
Maintains confidentiality when needed and required. Provides confidential support to individuals and groups in the community.
Identifies and maintains contact with community organizations and keeps mission members informed of relevant activities.
When CLO Coordinator is absent, represents CLO at various meetings. In this capacity uses best judgement to make decisions regarding the areas of responsibility.
