The work schedule for this position is:

  • Part Time (25 hours per week)

Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (2-3 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

The incumbent manages Force Protection Detachment's (FPD) annual budget to include TDY, office supplies, and other operational expenses and makes forecasts for out year FY requirements. S/he interfaces with the Rabat FMO and GSO, FMC to track and manage FPD funding. S/he assists the FPD Chief in tracking TDY personnel in Morocco. S/he fields phone calls and manage correspondence for the FPD as necessary.

Qualifications and Evaluations


EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two years of progressively experience in administrative, financial management, accounting or budget preparation is required.


- Must have knowledge of accounting, budget and financial plan preparation.

- Must possess a good working knowledge of administrative and technical issues in order to provide assistance to FPD.


Education Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school and two years college education is required.



LANGUAGE:  Fluency (written and spoken) English is required. (This may be tested).


- Must be able to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance.

- Must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with other Embassy personnel.

- Must be able to issue, track, and account for office funding and equipment.

- Must be Knowledgeable of personal computers and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Access.

- Must be familiar with or able to learn DOS cable system, DOD Country Clearance System (APACS) and various NCIS databases.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
