Duties

Responsible for escorting all landlords and non-cleared contractors performing make-ready and/or commissioning work in government leased and/or owned residences to ensure that these residences are not compromised and that work is performed in a safe mannerReviews work site upon completion of work and ensures that all personnel, landlords and contractors have exited the premises and grounds. Performs other make-ready support logistical duties as assigned by Make-Ready Coordinator.                                                                                                  


 

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:  At least six months of prior experience in an office, management or security-related position required


JOB KNOWLEDGE:  Familiar with layout of residential neighborhoods of Tunis.

Education Requirements:

  • Completion of Secondary School is required.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE:  Level 1 English, this will be tested.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Basic keyboard skills and computer literacy. Ability to photograph and document project progress when asked or necessary utilizing a smart phone. Must be observant, flexible and service oriented.  Ability to perform prolonged periods of standing/walking and somewhat physically demanding activities to include climbing ladders working in cramped spaces and at times working in inclement weather.  Must have a valid drivers license and able to operate an Embassy vehicle according to applicable standards and in a safe manner.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Tunis, Tunisia may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.


For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
