Summary:

The U.S. Mission in Cairo/Egypt is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Management Assistant. 


The work schedule for this position is Full-time 40 hours/week.


Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties

The incumbent is responsible for managing, monitoring, analyzing, formulating, evaluating and leading administrative programs for Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Enforcement Removal Operations (ERO).


Also, the incumbent is in charge of the full range of personnel planning, procurement and inventory, logistics, budget formulation, and management (in excess of $3M per annum).


Provides administrative support to the Attaché, and all other assigned personnel in order to facilitate operation of the offices. 

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

Prior Work Experience: 


Five years of specialized experience in budget and financial processes, administrative support, logistics, management, and research and analysis are required.  


Must have experience in preparing a variety of written reports, and memoranda utilizing and updating a diverse selection of databases are required. 


Knowledge:


The incumbent must have advanced knowledge of official communication protocols, and particular knowledge of Egyptian government entities.  


Must have familiarity with processing administrative tasks and troubleshooting technical issues in order to assist Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Enforcement Removal Operations (ERO) personnel.

A University Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics Statistics, Arts or Social Sciences is required.  

Evaluations:

Language Ability:


Level IV speaking/reading/writing of English is required.


Level IV  speaking/reading/writing of Arabic is required. 


Abilities and Skills:


The incumbent must possess advanced analytical skills and demonstrate a keen ability to independently prioritize, multi-task and execute work.


Besides the analytical ability to interpret policies and complex budgets and spend plans.  

Qualifications:

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Cairo Post/Egypt may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.


For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter from the HR Office.
