Summary:

The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 number of hours per week)


Duration of Appointment: Indefinite subject to successful completion of probationary period.

Duties

Maintains familiarity with the Security Guard force Contract and its Amendments/Modifications. Monitor and evaluates the demeanor and performance of Contract Security Guards to ensure contractual obligations are met and reports any observed discrepancies and/or violations to the Regional Security Office/ Contracting Officer’s Representative (RSO/COR). Serves as Continuity Officer regarding the Local Guard Contract for the RSO to ensure compliance with Mission security regulations and procedures and access to Mission facilities.  Assists the RSO/COR in building and maintaining strong bilateral communication between RSO and the Senior Management of the security guard force Contractor. Assists the RSO/COR in monitoring weapons qualification of security guard personnel and perform the inventory inspections of all U.S. Embassy-provided equipment to contract guard force, including weapons and ammunition, and provides monthly reports to RSO/COR.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years work experience with progressive responsibility in security services including supervisory responsibilities is required.

Education Requirements:

Completion of a secondary education is required. (Please submit copy of Diploma and/or school records).


 

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE:  Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English and Tagalog proficiency is required. This will be tested.

Benefits:

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Manila may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.


For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
