Summary:

The U.S. Mission in Cairo, Egypt is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Housing Coordinator.


Final grade/step will be determined by Washington.


The work schedule for this position is full time 40 hours per week.


This position will not be available until July 2021.

Duties

The incumbent coordinates the preparation of residencies for new tenants. This includes coordinating between incoming employees, agencies, General Services Office (GSO), Facilities (FAC), Information Management (IRM), and the Regional Security Office (RSO). The incumbent ensures that residential units are clean, furnished, and in good condition so that employees can move in with minimal delay. The incumbent also inspects units when they are vacated. The incumbent answers, or refers to appropriate offices, housing questions from employees and their families via telephone, email, or other Housing Office communications. The incumbent may also assist with general administrative work of the office such as preparing lease vouchers, reports, and maintaining and updating folders.

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:  Minimum two (2) years' experience in an administrative and/or customer service capacity.


 

Education Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is required.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in English. Some Arabic basic knowledge but nor required.


Skills and abilities : Must have proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and SharePoint. 2. Current employees of the Mission hired on a Family member Appointment (FMA) or a Personal Services Agreement (PSA) are not eligible to apply within the first 90 calendar days of their employment. This does not apply to employees on a PSA (Temp), or those are hired on a When Actually Employed (WAE) or intermittent work schedule.
