Summary:

The U.S. Mission in Recife, Brazil is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Community Liaison Office (CLO) Coordinator (Pro Tem) in the Management Office.


The work schedule for this position is:

Duties

Working as part of Management Team, Community Liaison Officer (CLO) Coordinator Pro Tem serves all USG employees and family members at Post.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Office administration experience including customer service is required.

Education Requirements:

Completion of secondary (high) school is required.


 

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE:  Level III (Good Working Knowledge) in speaking/reading/writing English required. (This may be tested.)


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  



  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and coordinate with others, communicate well orally; strict attention to details and schedule are required.

  • Ability to uphold and represent American standards of quality and service in all aspects of the post’s operations is required.

  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Internet is required.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Recife may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.


For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.

The certification letter should be on letterhead of the appropriate military branch of the service and contain (1) the military service dates including the expected discharge or release date; and (2) the character of service.
