The U.S. Mission in Kuwait is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Security Escort.

The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances or their candidacy may end.

The Security Escort is responsible for providing secure oversight of work that occurs in sensitive areas of the Embassy. The incumbent reports directly to the Facility Manager (FM) and obtains daily assignment information from both the FM and senior Locally Employed (LE) staff. The incumbent works in the Facility Management section in close conjunction with technicians and technical staff, in addition to construction and maintenance contractors. The security escort/clerk is not formally responsible for direct supervision of staff, however, he/she, as the security escort, is responsible for making sure that maintenance work that is tasked to escort occurs in a secure manner. The position has the delegated authority to temporarily stop work if any questions arise under this arrangement.

Qualifications and Evaluations


Six months of prior  experience in an office, management, or security related position.



Education Requirements:
Completion of high school education is required.

LANGUAGE: Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required. This will be tested.

Agency Benefits:

Locally Employed Staff working at the U.S. Mission in Kuwait may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
